Vadodara: Complete flood plain zone of Vishwamitri river which moves in the center of Vadodara ought to be mapped out and demarcated.

That is exactly what the National Green Tribunal (NGT) has arranged the government in relation to this Vishwamitri River Action Plan (VRAP).
NGT’s principal chair led by chairperson justice (retired) Adarsh Kumar Goel has noticed that Vishwamitri river is just one of 351 contaminated river stretches characterized by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
