Saligao: Congress on Saturday held a protest in Mapapa on an increase in important commodity prices.
Congress spokesman Amarnath Panjikar claimed that under the BJP regime, prices had touched new height.
“BJP is silent about inflation and its main concern has become a temporary poll that the country has been affected by a pandemic, the center raises customs in fuel,” he said.
TNN President North Goa District Party Vijay Bhike said that the Congress Government would ensure that the price of essential commodities would be controlled and submitted to people to choose Congress in the upcoming polls.
Former Calangute Mla Agnelo Fernandes said that on one side of the person had been shaken by a pandemic, on the other hand they had to face the price of soaring fuel and other commodities.
