Kolkata: Kroisah Krishnanagar Uttar Mla hit Roy, Trinamool Congress actually worked for its height at the West Bengal Assembly.
Roy was allocated seats in the front row next to the opposition leader Suvendu Adhikari, who aggressively arguing for the cancellation of membership of the Assembly Roy under the Antidefection Act.
Roy, who initially allocated the 42nd seat in the third row next to the Head of BJP Whip Manoj Tigga and BJP Natabari Mla Mihir Goswami on the first day of the budget session, was taken to the front row and allocated the 15th seat next to the opposition leader.
, Roy’s elevation was seen as a step forward towards his position which was coveted by the Public Public Chairman’s post because the speaker had a decisive role in both actions – determining the arrangement of MLA seating and also the chairman of PAC.
But MLA missed the scene of Roy sitting next to BĂȘte Noire Adhikari because the latter did not come for the assembly session postponed after the obituary on Monday.
Roy, on the contrary, was present at home catching up with the powerful MLA party as a member of the Public Account Committee.
BJP does not include the name of Roy in the list that has Ashok Lahiri, Suvendu Adhikari, Bankim Ghosh, Ambika Roy, Vivekananda Baure, Nikhil Ranjan Dey and Tarun Maiti, who all become members of PAC.
77 MLA BJP fell to 75 after two parliamentarians, Nisith Pramanik and Jagannath Sarkar, who won the Assembly poll resigned as MPA because they chose to continue as a member of parliament.
The party suffered a fiber after Roy returned to Trinamool even though he won the assembly poll with BJP tickets.
On Monday, Bagda MLA Bissyjit Das was called to the head of Trinamool Whip Nirmal Ghosh in his assembly room, sparking speculation if BJP was heading towards the same development.
But the watershed shot speculation like that.
“I am Mla.
I can meet anyone,” he said.
Bagda Mla has opposed the party whip while signing a register attendance on the opening day of the assembly session.
Das did not offer any explanation for his actions.
