Margao: City of Margao City on Friday arrested Mehboob Subani Parkywale, 32, a resident of the housing board colony, Gogol, Margao, after he was arrested by red hand with 1.4 kg of narcotics which was suspected of being a marijuana worth Rs 1.46 lakh.
He was arrested from the parking lot behind a public toilet near the Margao firefighting station on Fridays.
Parkywale was arrested with the provisions of Narcotics Narcotics and Psychotropic Act 1985.
Further investigation was underway.
