Margaret essay collection in March

The best-selling writer International Margaret Atwood’s last novel ‘The Testaments’ is a joint winner of the 2019 Booker Prize.
And now, Canadian writers who won rewards with new books, which are expected to come out this year.
ATWOOD’s new book, an essay collection titled ‘Burning Questions’, will be published in March 2022.
For decades, the novelist-poet-essays atwood, 81, has observed the world that changed around us.
From climate change and the environmental crisis on women’s rights and freedom, Atwood shared his thoughts on important issues in ‘combustion questions’.
This book contains 50 strong essays that he wrote between 2004-2021.
This book is divided into five parts – starting 9/11 and afterwards until now.
This book also provides a glimpse of the process of writing atwood.
According to a report about Oprah.com, in the introduction of the book, Atwood shared how he waited for years after he got the idea for ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ because he thought it was “too far”.
The author also explores the ideas of storytelling and “why are people everywhere, in all cultures, tell stories?”, According to the book description.
He also grieved the death of his partner who had been Graeme Gibson for a long time when he explored “How many of you can you give without evaporating?”.
Book 496 pages, ‘Burning Questions’, will be published by Chatto & Windus on March 1, 2022.
