WARANGAL: Seven Marijuana Peddler Arrested and Dry Owned Worth Rs 6.4 Lakh was confiscated by Parkal Task Force Cops on Sunday.
The police found smugglers during the vehicle check in the city of Parkal after a trolley driver tried to compete for it.
The police chased the trolley and found it had about 70 kilograms of dried marijuana stored in a 2kg wrap.
It was purchased from Sileru in Visakhapatnam and transported to Warangal, according to Warangal CP Dr.
Tarun Joshi.
Based on the recognition of the driver, the police arrested the Mastermind B Bhanmander from Hanamkonda and Associates P Ratnakar, G Suman Reddy, V Veera Reddy, G Heeeru, Chakinala Naresh and M Ramesh Good from the Jayashankar District of Bhupalapally.
Police said Bhanuchander regularly took marijuana from Vizag to the city of Parkal.
