Gurgaon: The Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) has declared the union registration assistance, which has been suspended for almost a month because of this Covid-induced lockdown.
The civic body obtained 267 software in April and 89 in May.
Officials stated that they received applications for union enrollment through the lockdown period also.
But, applicants weren’t given appointments because public coping was suspended along with the vast majority of employees was participated in Covid responsibilities.
“Union registrations, together with other public relations, were suspended because of the lockdown.
Furthermore, our employees are engaged in Covid responsibilities throughout the city.
We’ve been receiving software but were unable to supply appointments.
Since we’ve resumed the support, we’ll now begin screening programs and schedule appointments so,” said Pradeep Ahlawat, combined commissioner-1, MCG.
Of the 267 software received by the company in April, 60 individuals were issued marriage certificates and 162 programs were rejected because of insufficient documents and other factors.
Even though 25 applicants were requested to look in MCG workplace, 20 programs have been screened.
The officials stated that the software received in May will be processed shortly.
Meanwhile, the applicants stated they’ve been waiting to receive their unions enrolled.
“Once I used on the internet, I got an opinion on April 27 saying my appointment was scheduled for April 30.
But, I got yet another opinion on April 28 the appointment was cancelled because public coping has ceased in MCG offices because of the lockdown.
I received the following message May 27 to look together with my spouse along with our parents.
They live in a different city and it wasn’t feasible for them to return to Gurgaon on this a brief notice throughout the lockdown.
The government should know these issues and reschedule appointments,” said Praveen Yadav, a resident of Ashok Vihar.
Jitender Garg, joint commissioner-2, MCG, stated that there were cases in which the appointments provided before were placed on hold because public coping had ceased.
“We’re testing the software received and appointments will be rescheduled in situations where individuals cannot ensure it is as a result of lockdown limitations,” additional Garg.
