Jaipur: A 34-year-old man and his wife allegedly committed suicide by consuming poisons in the Bharatpur District in Rajasthan, police said on Wednesday.
Deepak Bansal and his wife Neeshu, around 30 years old, had a fight on Tuesday night, following their Celphos tablet consumption, according to the police.
“Immediately after consuming poison, Bansal called his brother-in-law and told him about it.
They then rushed to the district hospital where they died,” said a police officer.
They lived in Nadiya Mohalla under the limit of the Kotwali police station.
Their seven-year-old daughter was at her motherly grandmother’s house when the incident happened, police said.
