Maruti Q2 Clean Dips 66% to RS 487 Crore

New Delhi: The largest car maker in the country Maruti Suzuki India on Wednesday reported a 66 percent decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 487 Crore in the second quarter ended September 30, 2021, because of the production of semiconductor deficiencies.
The increase in commodity prices also has a negative impact on company revenue.
The company has posted the consolidated net income of Rs 1,420 Crore in the second second quarter of fiscal, Maruti Suzuki India said in a statement.
Consolidated income from operations reached Rs 20,551 Crore in the second quarter, compared with RS 18,756 Crore in the period last year, he added.
The total vehicle sales fell 3 percent at 3,79,541 units in the second quarter, such as against 3.93,130 units in the last fiscal period, he said.
