New Delhi: The largest car maker in the country Maruti Suzuki India on Thursday said the total production in July increased 58 percent at annual to 1,70,719 units.
The company has produced a total of 1,07,687 units in last year’s period, Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) said in submitting regulations.
“While the number of vehicles produced in July 2021 was higher than July 2020, a significant comparison because sales in July last year had a much lower basis due to a disturbance related to a pandemic,” said the majoring in the car.
The number of vehicles produced in July this year remains on the bottom side compared to July 2018, he added.
The production of passenger vehicles reached 1,67,825 units last month, against 1.05,345 units in July 2020.
Mini car production consisting of the Alto and S-Presso model reached 24,899 units last month by opposing 20,638 units a year ago.
Similarly, the manufacture of compact cars, consisting of Wagonr, Celerio, Ignis, Swift, Baleno and Dzire, rose to 90,604 units from the previous 55,390 units, MSI said.
Vehicle production utility – Gypsy, Ertiga, S-Cross, Vitara Brezza and XL6 – increased to 40,094 units last month from 19,130 units in the appropriate month 2020.
MSI said the production of commercial vehicles the light was established at 2,894 units against 2,342 units in last year.
