New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki India’s leading car maker on Tuesday said it had partnered with the Savitribai Phule Pune University, Maharashtra, to train young people in retail cars.
Bachelor of Vocational Study three years adjusted in retail management courses will be offered to students by universities with support from the company, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.

Curriculum for ‘Bachelor of Vocational Study in Retail Management’ has been developed by two partners with enhanced focus on value education, work ethics, soft skills, and learning the work culture of India and Japan, the statement said.
The first batch of 80 students will start the academic year 2021-22 from August 2021.
This course is based on the concept of ‘income when you study’ where students will receive salaries during training at their workplace, he added.
