New Delhi: Maruti Car Market Leader Suzuki India Ltd.
(MSIL) will continue and complete the plan to establish a new manufacturing facility RS 18,000 Crore in Haryana before the end of this calendar year with the state government reduces gross salary limits to rs 18,000 30,000 per month in 75 percent Work reservation policy for locals, chairman of the company RC Bhargava said on Monday.
According to him, while the industry will be “happier without reservation policy”, it is still a positive response from the state government after discussions with various industrial bodies and associations have encouraged the company to complete the solid gurugram unit shift for new locations in the country.
Last week, the Haryana government has told that laws that provide 75 percent of reservations in the private sector to work seekers from the state will come into force since January 15, 2022, under the work of the state Haryana from the Local Candidate Act, 2020.
At the time The same, the upper limit of gross monthly salary or wages under the minus action from the RS 50,000 previously considered to be 30,000.
“Basically, Maruti Suzuki can say that the government (Haryana) has responded positively.
We are happy and we will continue and complete the new land where we will move (Grugram factory) in the calendar in 2021, before the end of December, before the end of December , “Said PTI Bhargava.
While ending the reduction of the lid of the gross salary as a “positive development”, Bhargava said some details had not succeeded.
He said Maruti Suzuki would look for new land in Haryana where he could arrange three units with each of which had an annual production capacity of 2.5 lakh units and overall investment in new facilities would be around RS 18,000 Crore.
Bhargava, however, said it would greatly depend on how the Indian passenger vehicle market grew over the next few years.
When asked how quickly the new unit can be operationalized, he said, “It will take at least three years before one unit (in the new location) becomes operational.” MSIL has planned to switch from the Gurugram Manufacturing Unit, which is spread over 300 hectares due to traffic jams and troublesome.
However, the plan was delayed due to Covid-19 pandemic and moved by the government Haryana to present a job reservation policy.
At present, the factory, its first factory, launched many popular companies companies, including Alto and Wagonr, with an annual estimate of around 7 lakh units.
In the entanglement of the Gurugram unit, he said, “It’s not in a hurry.
We must first establish in a new location.” Besides Gurugram, MSIL has another manufacturing unit in Haryana in Manesar.
Both of these units have a combined production capacity of around 15.5 units of lakh per year.
The parent Suzuki Motor Corp.
also has facilities in Gujarat with an installed production capacity of 7.5 lakh units per year after the third unit started production in April this year and supplied exclusively to the company.
