Gurgaon: Mason has been ordered for allegedly persecuting Sector 50 citizens.
The defendant, police said, recently did some repair work at the woman’s house.
On Monday, he went there again with the pretext of checking the work done and allegedly committing it.
“He is a familiar face, therefore, I let it be in the house,” said the complainant, adding that the defendant first looked around to ensure her husband left.
“He then grabbed my hand.
I opposed and thrilled it but he continued to hold my hand and tried to pull me at him.
I kept shouting at him and crying for help.
Worried he might be caught, the man left home after releasing a threat to me,” he said.
Based on his complaint, a case was registered at the Sector 50 police station under the section of 354A (sexual abuse) and 506 (criminal intimacy) IPC.
Sho Inspector Rahul Dev said the defendant was a native of West Bengal and he lived in Gurgaon in rented accommodation.
“We are raiding to arrest the defendant,” Dev added.
