Massive fire extinguisher in Secunderabad Club

Hyderabad: A big fire broke in the Secunderabad Club during early Sunday.
While club officials estimate the right property damage, it is estimated to lose more than Rs 25 Crore.
Established on April 26, 1878, the Secunderabad club is one of the oldest clubs in India.
According to the police, around 2:30 a.m.
at the club had notified the control room about fire accidents in the main building.
During the same time, the Colts Blue patrol team also paid attention to the fire and reminded fire control.
In accordance with the initial investigation, the fire seems to have begun on the first floor of three major-storey main buildings where the club’s management office was and spread throughout the structure, said Inspector Marredpally Mattaiiah.
Eight fire tenders including army fire extinguisher reached the place and worked continuously for four hours to extinguish the fire.
The 60,000 legacy structure has three floors.
The whole structure was completely damaged by fire, said the North Zone DCP G Deepthi.
The broken main building has reception, bar and dining room, kitchen, ball room, super market, office management, storage room, and billiard room.
The structure has a lot of wood which according to fire officials is the reason for spreading fast fire.
Police said that club management was preparing complaints and based on that they would register the case and start the probe.
