Mathura: As a measure for controlling a raging fever, the Ministry of Health officers in Mathura have been instructed to conduct CBC tests every fever patient, said a senior state government officer on Saturday.
“Get a complete blood count (CBC) conducted from every fever patient as a precaution to fight dengue fever”, Mayur Maheshwari, Mukhya Karyapalak Adhikari Industries, Kanpur, was said to have instructed local officials in a meeting on Friday.
He directed Mathura’s Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to complete the sample for dengue fever in every case where the patient showed a fever symptom.
Sampling at least 100 people must be done every day in every public health center, Maheshwari said, who is also a nodal officer for Covid-19 for Mathura.
The official also directed CMO to take the maximum sample of the villages affected by dengue.
The school district inspector is directed at ensuring no water stagnant in or around the school and Inter College.
Emphasis is given to cleanliness around the school with a regular spray of anti-larval or DDT chemicals in the vulnerable area.
Agricultural officials and income posted in Mathura were also told to ensure actual losses caused by rice plants to heavy rain recently.
“Overcome the problem of farmers relating to sowing rice, potatoes and wheat plants, and availability of fertilizer”, said the official.
The meeting was concluded with pressure on the face setting to fight Covid-19.
Nodal officers also made a surprise examination at Nagar Palika Parishad, Kosimalan, CHC Kosikalan, a school in Dumana Chhata Tehsil Village, and the New Mathura Bus Stand, and issued instructions to those responsible.
