Agra: The temple in Mathura and Vrindavan has imposed strict restrictions on the number of worshipers at a certain time amid scarling Covid-19 in the district.
Improving came after 185 people were tested positive on Mondays and 235 the day before, taking the total number of active cases to 739 in the district.
Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan has reintroduced the online registration system to limit the number of worshipers.
It also makes the negative test report RT PCR mandatory for visitors from other states.
In Mathura, ‘Parikrama’ (Surgawam) from Dwarkadhish Temple has been banned.
The distribution of ‘Prasad’ and ‘CharmNambit’ has also been banned.
