Noida / Ghaziabad: Six more people, including two travelers from Australia and Mauritius, were tested positive for Covid in Ghaziabad on Monday, taking the total number of cases recorded in this district to 38, including treatment.
Gautam Budh Nagar, meanwhile, reported a new case.
With 60 cases in December, so far, daily testing has increased in the district.
The seven-year-old child who came to Ghaziabad from Mauritius, who was in the list of “risky” countries, on November 21, was found positively when he underwent a recent test.
The child, who was in a house isolation in Taman Shalimar, did not show the symptoms, officials said, adding that the sample of all those who came into contact with him had recently been collected to be investigated.
