Lucknow: Against Chief SP Promises Akhilesh Yadav was taken while holding food in his hand as no shortage of “political drama”, Deputy CM Keshav Maurya on Monday said that farmers would never fall in an evil opposition trap.
Maurya’s sliding came for hours after Akhilesh met with a farmer delegation from Lakhimpur led by Tejinder Singh Virk and took a promise to “defeat” BJP which brought three agricultural laws in the center of the old protest.
Maurya said that the SP government had previously destroyed farmers through its policies and turned off the sugar factory.
“If he cares about farmers, the government will do basic work such as irrigation, payment of sugar cane prices, procurement in MSP.
Instead, he likes the closure of sugar factories, with payment costs due to sugar cane farmers and hiring intermediaries,” he said.
Maurya said that the work carried out by the government “multiple engine” from BJP was very contrasting with the dark chapter of the SP regime.
He stressed the various steps taken by the BJP Government for the welfare of farmers including the payment record and payment of meadow at MSP, the neglect of RS 36,000 Crore loans in the first cabinet and the expansion of Lakh’s irrigation capacity.
Labeling SP as an “enemy farmer”, Maurya said that while plants dry out, no electricity.
Also, if farmers are destroyed in disasters, compensation is not given for years.
