Guwahati :: The Assam government on Friday told the house that the impact of global warming and climate change will be felt in the country too.
The Minister of Science and Technology and Climate Change of Keshab Mahanta, in a written reply, stated that according to research by Gahati University, “Annual annual and the minimum temperature of Assam showed a gradual increase trend.” He further added, “In addition, it has also been noted that temperatures in winter, rainy season and post-season season have increased compared to the past.” The minister stated, “The amount of rainfall seen has increased in the summer but has declined in the rainy season.”
