New Delhi: Head of BSP Mayawati on Friday welcomed the central decision to revoke three agricultural laws and asked the government to compensate for more than 700 farmers who lost their lives for a year with legislation.
The country will avoid conflict and chaos having the center of making a decision to cancel the previous agricultural law, former CM said and demanded financial assistance in accordance with the relatives of farmers and government work for their family members.
Protests by farmers, who instill cold, heat and rain to oppose the law “forced” on it by the center has produced several results, he said.
“The center finally made a delayed decision and I congratulate the farmers.”
