Ayodhya: In what can mark the paradigm shift in his political strategy, the Head of BSP Mayawati has asked the face of the party Brahmana and Rajya Sabha MP Satish Chandra Mishra to visit Ramjanmabhoomi and pray before kicking Brahmana Samermelan in Ayodhya.
It was confirmed by Mishra on Sunday on its official Facebook page, where he wrote – “We had to repeat the 2007 victory in 2022 to save Uttar Pradesh and his people by taking the blessing of Lord Ram in Ayodhya on July 23.
Saridaye Sarahaye, Sarafan Sukhaye (Welfare).
“And it might be the first time a senior BSP leader will visit RamjanMabhoomi – Centrestage of Hindutva Politics – in what will be the first public ratification of the Dalit Party about RAM Mandir.
In fact, Maywati, herself, never visited Ayodhya even though she carved Ambedkarnagar from Faizabad’s past in 1995.
The Head of BSP was also known to stay away from religious-based politics.
Mayawati’s decision to ask the key maid of Satish Mishra to pay respect to Ram Lalla before launching the conclave Brahmana in Ayodhya was being seen as the adjustment of its social engineering formula with soft hindutva to not only wean BJP BJP effectively, but also effectively against BJP in run-up for run-up for Run-up for Assembly elections.
Local Brahmana BSP leaders in Ayodhya also confirmed to the Toi that Mishra would offer prayers at Ramjanmabhoomi to send a pointed message to the top Hindu caste.
“After the elected members of Zila Panchayats and the Board of Development Blocks are openly supported by BJP in rural polls that have just been concluded, BSP will now give a message to the Hindus of the top caste, especially the Brahmana whose Dalit Party is a pro-RAM,” said political analyst Anil Kumar Singh.
He said BSP seemed to change his strategy because of the powerful political revival at Uttar Pradesh.
