Google recently announced that it would launch a smartphone pixel 6 series flagship which was powered by its own chipset this year.
That’s right, Google doesn’t use the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and instead Google’s first time says that it has made SOC itself to power on the upcoming Pixel cellphone.
Google calls a new Soc chipset tensor.
While Google managed to surprise smartphone fans by announcing the tensor chipset itself, the search giant did not reveal specifically about the chipset.
Google only said that the new tensor chipset will offer the best AI and ML experiences along with security improvements.
Now, be prepared to be surprised.
A report by Sammobile claims that Google’s tensor chipset is actually an Exynos chipset that has not been released made by Samsung.
South Korea’s electronics giant has worked with Google for some time and the report claims that Samsung has produced Google Tensor chipsets based on the LPE 5NM process.
Samsung is working on two superior chipsets – Exynos 9855 and 9925– last year.
One of the two has an AMD GPU.
Now, according to the report by the Galaxy Club, Exynos 9925 will be called Exynos 2200 with the Series Launch Galaxy S22 next year.
Also, Exynos 9925 will have an AMD GPU.
For reference, the Exynos 2100 chipset on the Galaxy S21 series cellphone was identified as Exynos 9840 internally.
Now, the only new superior chipset that has not been used by Samsung has not been on his cellphone, Exynos 9855 and reports the claim that the exynos 9925 is actually Google Tensor SOC.
Google seems to have added AI and ML capabilities to the Exynos 9855 chipset to power the 6 cellphones pixel and have merepranded chipset as a SOC tensor.
The performance, the tensor chipset will be very similar to the Exynos 2100 chipset found on the Galaxy S21 Series Phones.
