New Delhi: After four years of responsibility for the Senior National Women’s Indian team, Maymol Rocky’s head coach has resigned from his role for personal reasons.
Maymol, who took control of the head coach in 2017 after serving as an assistant coach, led the team to a number of international successes and saw them growing rapidly in recent years.
Speaking to www.the-aiff.com, he thanked the Federation for “Trust” in his ability.
“I sincerely thank the Indian football federation to believe in me and the team for years.” I am very happy to see the progress we have made in recent years.
The facilities we get are always very good and the support we get from the Federation, Indian Sports Authority (SAI), and the Odisha government has become the key to our success, “said Maymol.
