Ludhiana: After the Civic body started a patchwork on the city’s main road, the Mayor of Balkar Sandhu examined the ongoing work in various regions in the city on Wednesday.
He took each member of the board to get their advice if there was a problem with the ongoing work.
Officials were told to finish the work of fillings with a week.
But the mayor shows satisfaction for the ongoing repair work.
Mayor visited Dholeal Chowk, Sua Road, Daresi Road, 32 Chandigarh Road Sector and Gram Roads Model.
On Tuesday, Cabinet Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu after meeting with officials had instructed to do the work of the patch immediately and since it happened in all fields.
The patchwork continued until late at night on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Regional council members are involved at this time so they may not raise the question mark later.
Routine monitoring is also done to ensure quality must not be compromised.
The Mayor of Balkar Sandhu said it was due to prolonged rainfall, they could not start the road patch work but it was difficult to wait more time because the road was in bad condition.
He said they maintained an examination and would make sure the residents had to rest from a weathing vehicle as soon as possible.
