New Delhi: A 40-year-old man, an MBA graduate, was arrested for selling a housing flats on behalf of the Cooperative Group Housing Society (CGHS) in Ddai allocated in Dwarka.
The police said that the defendant, together with former DDA official, allegedly deceived 12 people from Rs 2.6 Crore.
The defendant, Vikram Sarin, was arrested on Tuesday from Janakpuri West Delhi.
According to the police, they received complaints from Dishraj Yadav and 10 others against the company called Irameya Developers Pvt Ltd and the director.
The additional commissioner of the police (EOW) RK Singh said the complainant told them that the defendant induced them, with a false representation, that a plot of land was allocated by DDA for the CGHS status in DDA.
