MBBS: There is no separate entrance exam, said Jipmer

Puducherry: Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) will not carry out separate entrance examinations to enter MBBS, BSC (care) and BSC courses (Allied Health Sciences) for the academic year 2021-22.
Reception to these courses in Jipmer will be based on the National Eligibility Cum Pahala Score (NEET) conducted by the National Test Agency (NTA).
The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will conduct MBBS counseling while Jipmer will conduct BSC counseling.
Candidates can visit the Institute website www.jipmer.edu.in for detailed application procedures and counseling after the publication of the results of NEET (UG).
