MC Mary Kom Goes Closing of Asian

DUBAI: Six-time world Winner MC Mary Kom (51kg) Slipped to the Asian Boxing Championships Closing after notching a gruelling Success on Mongolia’s Lutsaikhan Altantsetseg on Thursday.

Mary Kom triumphed in a busted 4-1 choice.
But, Monika (48kg) settled for a bronze medal after heading down 0-5 to next seeded Alua Balkibekova of Kazakhstan.
Even the top-seeded Mary Kom awakened from her enormous reservoir of expertise to outwit the sprightly Altantsetseg along with her hook being especially striking on this day.
The 38-year-old will be gunning for the first time gold medal in the showpiece.
Before, in an extreme competition, Monika simply couldn’t keep pace with Balkibekova, that craftily dodged the Indian’s strikes and joined a few eye-catching blend punches to control the event.
On Wednesday night, the Olympic-bound Ashish Kumar (75kg) dropped 2-3 to Asian Games silver-medallist Abilkhan Amankul of Kazakhstan at the quarterfinal.
Additionally going down at the quarters was first Narender (+91kg).
He lost 0-5 into Kazakhstan’s Kamshibek Kunkabayev.
On Friday, five Indian guys — Amit Panghal (52kg), Varinder Singh (60kg), Shiva Thapa (64kg), Vikas krishan (69kg) and Sanjeet (91kg) — may battle it out in the semifinals.
Of them, Panghal and Krishan are bound to get Tokyo Olympics.
