Nagpur: The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has not marked the Director’s Identification Number (DIN) Ashwin Prakash Mehadia, which is mandatory to become a director at any company registered under the 2013 Act.
However, Mehadia is still back – Select as President Nag Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce (NVCC), APEX Body of the 13 Lakh Traders of the region.
Mehadia was elected President of the NVCC at the 77th Annual General Meeting of the NVCC held on the past day.
It was the third time in a row he was elected as President of the NVCC.
Toi has been on October 30 highlights that Mehadia was chosen and worked as a NVCC president for two years though despite Din-qualification.
DIN 0291003 was below disqualification from November 1, 2016, until October 31, 2021.
The MCA website showed on Tuesday, the Din was still below disqualification.
MCA has displayed public notifications on its website.
Public notification reads, “MCA has marked the Dus Directors found disqualified under paragraph 2 (a) Part 164 of the Act-2013 company with the effects of November 2016 for a period of five years.
This is for information from all of the concerned that the DIN is qualified To be marked by the end of the disqualification period is in the verification process.
The necessary actions must be taken immediately.
“The Corporate Secretary said,” The MCA website did not accept the form for Director of Mehadia on Tuesday for several technical reasons.
He has not become a director.
“In accordance with the budget Basic NVCC, Directors (BOD) must manage the company’s business (NVCC).
Directors consist of president and nine posts again.
Anil Advocacy Kumar Mulchandani said, “Each member must first be the director and then elected as President in accordance with the NVCC Articles of Association.
Mehadia has not become a Director because the MCA will not accept the form until Din-Din is marked.
When he is not a director, choosing him as the president itself is illegal.
“Requesting comments, Mehadia sent to the same public notification posted on the MCA website.
“I submitted a complaint with the MCA on November 1 and received a reply.
MCA also displays similar notifications on its website on November 10 now, there is no problem about my din.
Therefore, I became the director of today’s own,” he said.
One of his counselors said, “The Mehadia disqualification period was over.
Therefore, now he meets the requirements to become a director.
But for some technical reasons, the de-fluging process has not been completed and also the process of being a waiting director,” he said.
MCA has not approached DIN, but Mehadia was re-elected as President of NVCC
