Mumbai: Association of Cricket Mumbai (MCA) on Friday Respect the two biggest Indian Cricketers – legendary Sunil Gavascar and ‘Lord of Lords’ Dilip Vengsarkar, in the function of gala in their homes – Iconic Wankhede Stadium.
The cricket’s body first presented a hospitality box to the 72-year-old Gavascar, which made a test debut on March 6, 1971 at the Spanish port against Perkasa West Indies.
Gavaskar, former Indian captain and veteran of 125 tests, earlier this year finished 50 years in international cricket.
Also, on that occasion, the MCA inaugurated ‘Dilip Vengsarkar’ in the honor of the former chairman of the voters and veterans from 116 tests.
Both Gavaskar and Vengsarkar were present on that occasion.
Also, present is the former Indian opener and GR viswanath player, who is also brother-in-law Gavaskar, Icon Kricket Sachin Tendulkar, former Head of ICC, BCCI and MCA Sharad Pawar, Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray and a number of MCA senior office carriers, including President Vijay Patil and Secretary Sanjay rose and Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar.
The association also kicked the ‘Centenary Madhav Mantri’ year celebration.

Gavaskar thanked MCA for the great honor of he was awarded to him and also recalled anecdotes about Madhav Mantri.
The legendary opening batsman also thanked Veteran Cricket Collentist Makarand Waingananakar.
