NEW DELHI: The market capitalisation of all BSE-listed businesses reached a new record high of 226 lakh crore on Thursday following indices bounced back after 2 days of hot trend.
In the end of trade, the market capitalisation of all BSE-listed businesses was 2,26,51,439.68 crore.
Investors’ riches on Thursday gained Rs 1,88,767.14 crore aided by the industry rally.
Even the 30-share BSE benchmark closed in 52,232.43, a profit of 382.95 points or 0.74 percent.
“Markets declared the uptrend following the little pause, monitoring company global cues.
Amongst the industries, all of the indices finished in the green, wherein consumer durables, realty and capital products were the leading gainers,” Ajit Mishra, VP – Research, Religare Broking Ltd..
Titan has been the largest gainer from the Sensex package, jumping 6.69 percent, followed by ONGC, L&T, Axis Bank and Kotak Bank.
In contrast, IndusInd Bank, PowerGrid, M&M, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories and Bajaj Auto were one of the laggards, decreasing around 2.15 percent.
In the wider market, the BSE midcap and smallcap indices climbed 1.04 percent each.
All of BSE sectoral indices closed with profits, together with consumer durables, realty, capital products, industrials, gas and oil, bankex and fund gaining around 4.44 percent commission.
