Mysuru: To involve the public at Swachh Survekshan 2022 (SS22) MySuru City Corporation (MCC) launched a clean school, market association, hospital, hotel, resident’s welfare association (RWA), and government office competition.
January 8 is the last date to be applied, and the evaluation will begin from January 10.
Meanwhile, stakeholders urge MCC to involve them in training because many of them are not involved in this exercise.

To ensure the public will be actively involved with MCC in this initiative, we launch this competition.
Private institutions / institutions and governments can participate in this matter .
“At SS2021, MySuru which slipped into 15th place at the national level, only scored 1301.62 from a maximum of 1,800.
The first rated indore has scored 1704.76.
Among the top 25 cleanest cities in the country, MySuru received the lowest sign below this category affected its ranking nationally.
Roopa said the involvement of citizens is one of the important aspects of SS2022.
However, the big challenge in front of MCC involves stakeholders.
According to Bhamy V Shenoy from Mysore Grahakara Parisat (MGP), C Narayana Gowda, Association of MySuru District Hotel owners, and Santosh Kumar, from the Private School Association, until now MCC has not involved them in training.
“MCC must work with the true stakeholders to achieve success in his new initiative.
We are not consulted on this new plan.
We are open to ideas and work with MCC.
It must invite all stakeholders and various organizations to make this competition successful,” said they.
