MCC Moots Revenue Wewake Squad at City

Mangaluru: Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) has adopted a budget for 2022-23, which aims to mobilize resources to collect Hospital 80 Crore through property tax under the self-assessment scheme (SAS).
“The city has 2,05,003 properties in 60 wards, and wants to increase the income of entry.

The budget has a surplus of RS 345.1 Crore.
Mayor of Premanand Shetty said the corporation would emphasize the increase in sanctions for each environmental corporation for development, based on increased income collection.
He responded to requests made by Corporator Abdul Ravoof from Congress, which said that sanctions for the corporator must be increased from Rs 50 Lakh to Rs 1 Crore per year.
“More emphasis will be given to make the MCC office completely without paper.
