MCG engineer attacks Se’s suspension, want an order to be revoked

Gurgaon: MCG Technical Wing Staff began a Pentow strike on Thursday to protest the suspension of Superintending Engineers (SE) Ramesh Sharma by Minister of Home and Urban Minister Anil VIJ, who acted after receiving complaints from several council members who accused mistakes and did not obey the mayor’s orders.
The engineers, who joined the accounts, establishment and branch of the MCG audit and sanitation workers and contractor unity in solidarity shows, warned that strikes would continue if the suspension order was not pulled.
Although employees who protested said important services would remain not affected at this time, the MCG Sanitation Workers Union announced that their services would be suspended on Friday.
The Association of Urban Bodies (ULB) (ULB), Haryana, has also decided to strike Pentows on Monday if the suspension order is not revoked on Friday.
On Thursday, Kuningan MCG held several rounds of talks, including three short meetings, with protest staff throughout the day but failed to break the deadlock, after the meeting and inauguration which is scheduled to be led by the Union Minister and Gurgaon MP Rao Inderdit Singh is delaying, said source.
MCG employees began gathering at the Sector 34 MCG office at 11 o’clock in the morning and raised the slogan against the mayor and board members, after that the talks began.
Support City Commissioner Rohtash Bishnii met with employees who protested at 4pm but they insisted that the MCG commissioner himself had to come and meet them.
Sources said the final round of negotiations began at 5:30 a.m.
when Bishnoi, Joint Commissioner (head office) Days Attri and Chief Engineer Thakur Lal Sharma was called to the MCG Commissioner camp office.
Commissioner MCG Mukesh Kumar Ahuja told the officials and representatives of the technical wing that he would look for time from VIJ so that they could submit their arguments.
However, MCG engineers reject the proposal and reaffirm that the suspension must be revoked, according to the source.
Some board members tried to resolve this problem by talking to the mayor and board members who had complained to VIJ against SE.
The source told board members told them that the city would suffer because of the spat between selected representatives and MCG employees.
Praveen Kumar, Head of the MCG Union Engineer, said their strike would continue without limits from Friday to the suspension of Sharma was revoked.
“It won’t affect important services offered by MCG because we don’t want the public to suffer,” he added.
Naresh Malesh, Secretary of State, Nagar Palika Karmachari Sangh, Haryana, said sanitary workers and men sewers in the city will continue working on Friday and decide their actions in the future after that.
Mayor Madhu Azad said protests by employees should not regarding public services.
“These are democratic rights to protest.
However, public services should not be affected.
In addition, I raised this problem before the Minister of ULb (VIJ) and he made a decision, which should not be challenged by the wing of the technique.
The decision was taken after SE left in the middle The official meeting held by me, “he said.
The protesters have alleged that the pair of two board members and the mayor’s son has played a key role in decision making and embarrassing officials when they do not have a local position in the Civic body.
The MCG staff also questioned the role of the commissioner as an official of the technique guaranteed on September 7 that this problem would be seen.
However, they claimed so far, he had not taken steps in their help.
Toi tried to reach off the office of the MCG Commissioner, but failed to get a response.
