Gurgaon: In the midst of a sharp increase in the number of Covid-19 patients in the city, MCG on Saturday issued a circular for the collection of biomedical waste from various city areas.
In the order, the wise schedule of the environment has been designed, with the Civic body also provides details of drivers contact, supervisors and vehicle numbers to collect biomedical waste in each environment.
Distribution is that number 10, 11, 12 and 13 will be closed on Monday and Thursday, while the numbers of ward 14, 15, 16 and 20 will be covered on Tuesday and Friday.
Likewise, environmental numbers 21, 22, 23 and 24 will be covered on Wednesday and Saturday.
Likewise, the collection of biomedical waste from environmental numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 will be carried out, every Monday and Thursday, from environmental numbers 5, 6, 7 and 8, every Tuesday and Friday, and from the number ward 9, 17, 18 and 19, every Wednesday and Saturday.
30 and 31 ward numbers will be borne on Monday and Thursday; Ward number 32 and 33 on Tuesday and Friday and environmental numbers 34 and 35 on Wednesday and Saturday.
The ward number 25 and 26 will be borne on Monday and Thursday; The number of wards 27 and 28 will be borne, every Tuesday and Friday, and environmental numbers will be covered on Wednesday and Saturday.
“We will exert adequate vehicles as needed.
The recent commissioner has directed us to improve vehicles intended to collect biomedical waste from four to eight,” said a senior MCG official.
The city produced 1.7 lakh kg of biomedical waste in April 2021, 2.1 KG in May 2021, 36,521 kg in June last year, 23,300 kg at 18.447 kg at 15,437 kg in September, 12,283 kg in October, 11,673 kg November and 12,913 kg in December.
