MCG marks 80 Places, sets up Clubs Such as Flooding check

Gurgaon: The civil organization of Gurgaon (MCG) has recognized 80 regions prone to waterlogging round town and featured groups for each one of the websites.
Each group includes six members, such as an executive scientist, an assistant scientist, junior scientist and 3 officers from the sanitation wing.
According to officers, the principal engineer of MCG will match with other government agencies, for example, district management, Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP), National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and many others, and search for measures which could be taken to tackle the problems.
Approximately 80 sites are identified with the civic body, such as DLF-1 underpass on Golf Course Road, IT Chowk on Golf Course Road, along with Rajiv Chowk underpass.
“Now that responsibilities are delegated to the officers to clean theses regions, the MCG commissioner begins tests to determine how the work is advancing.
From the next week, he’ll go to the websites and see if labour and machines was set up to address the issue,” stated a senior MCG official heed to the issue.
Within an arrangement, MCG commissioner Mukesh Kumar Ahuja stated that waterlogging in various areas of the town causes annoyance to the public and damages people land also.
“All combined commissioners will monitor and oversee the functioning of their staffers and make sure that all structures are placed in order in the time.
Needed staff and machines is set up in the earmarked sites that are prone to waterlogging,” stated the arrangement issued Thursday.
“They will provide immediate and efficient response if any waterlogging is reported/occurs in their field of administration.
Superintending engineer Ramesh Sharma, is going to be the nodal officer to its execution of those orders.
He’ll make certain that the necessary pumps and staff to get de-watering are set up in both identified and allowed sites that are prone to waterlogging,” the order says.
