MCG records two more sites to dispose of construction waste

Gurgaon: To overcome the problem of construction and demolition demolition (C & D) accumulate in the city, the corporation of the city of Gurgaon (MCG) has identified two more locations to dispose of waste.
MCG has taken five hectares of land in the basi rental and will also take advantage of nine hectares of land in the village of Balihawas for waste disposal C & D.
“C & D waste collection will be door to door.
We have decided to transfer the Disposal C & D zone 1 and 2 to the Basai and Zone 3 and 4 sites to the Balawas website, “said Haromi Attri, commissioner together-MCG, MCG.
According to officials, C & D waste will be taken from the construction site throughout the city and transported to these locations for effective disposal.
In addition, officials have also submitted that there is a need to increase the capacity of C & D waste factories , “said Sunder Sheoran, Executive Engineer, MCG.
MCG recently conducted an investigation against concession holders for the basi C & D factory waste and found that companies that operate them really rented their work to third parties, violating the norms of their agreements with the civil body.
It was also found in the probe that third parties illegally burden people to collect waste and transportation on behalf of MCG without authorization.
The report states that concession holders also provide other responsibilities related to the management and handling of factories to third parties, which are violations of the agreement.
MCG, in his report, said they were not informed of the agreement and no written permission was sought from the Civic Agency, which is also a violation of the agreement.
