MCG to reactivate the Covid control room for contact search

Gurgaon: In the midst of a surge in Covid-19 cases in the city, the city corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) will immediately reactivate the control room to search for contacts and also appoint days to collect biomedical waste from covid patient homes.
“We reactivate our control room with the power of 15 people and also installed 10 computers.
Staff will increase with an increase in the number of cases.
The main function of the control room is to track positive cases and their contacts.
The control room staff also updates real-time data cases Covid on the portal that can be accessed by the police and other officials, “said the commissioner with MCG (headquarters) Heliom Attri.
He added that the Civic body would be a team of five people to ensure that the Covid protocol was followed during cremation or burial.
