Gurgaon: Corporation of the City of Gurgaon (MCG) has directed DLF 1, 2 and 3 developers to complete the deficit infrastructure work on December 31, after the takeover of three licensed colonies will begin in the first week.

On Tuesday, members of the board of 34 and 35 board and other civil body officials held a meeting with DLF representatives about the takeover of these colonies.
The MCG Chief Engineer Thakur Lal Sharma directs the developer to accelerate the work that is delayed in the facility in accordance with the detailed project report (DPR) because the takeover process will begin soon.
Meanwhile, developers look for more time and notify civilian agencies waiting for work, including road coating, drainage, drainage, water supply, horticulture, community and other centers will be completed in March next year.
But Sharma did not agree to allow more time.
Officials said earlier, deadlines to complete work less than these colonies were set for June 30 but developers failed to complete a delayed job.
The developer, on the other hand, sends a letter to the MCG who is looking for verification of progress status in DLF 1, 2 and 3.
In the letter, the developer said the progress of wise work services in accordance with Civic.
The body so that the verification report must be provided by MCG for the same thing.
Meanwhile, MCG officials confirmed that the corporation would begin an increase in facilities and development work that came out of the DPR PurView even before takeover.
These works include road cleaning and waterways, installation of gym canopies in the park, installing STP for waste recycling, compost factory installation, tree cutting and laying tiles in the public area.
Rama Rani Rathee, a member of Ward 34, said the takeover was delayed for a long time.
Residents face a difficult time and further delays add to their misery.
“Road work is postponed especially in Block G DLF 1, J and L block DLF 2 and because it has increased so far, there is an overload to civil infrastructure,” he added.
According to the MCG rules, the developer must complete all the work by itself or pay the corporation to do so on its name.
In this case, DLF has agreed to complete all the delayed work but has dragged his foot on the deadline.
In 2017, CM Manohar Lal Khattar announced the government’s decision to take over 11 private colonies – Malibu Towne, Vipul World, Garden Mayfield, Sushant Lok 2 and 3, Greenwood City, Rosewood City, Arpay Housing, DLF 4 and 5.
However, he faced Many delays are due to uncertainty over the implications of regulatory and laws from the takeover.
In December 2019, the state government directed MCG to speed up the process.
The city and state planning department then submits estimates of these colonies.
However, until now, the Civic body only took over Suncity, South City 1 and 2, Palam Vihar and Sushant Lok 1, while the process of taking over the DLF 1, 2 and 3 phase was still ongoing.
