MCG was asked to control dust from the road, project site

Gurgaon: With the level of pollution down, the state no longer plans to implement a strange scheme even for cars on Jalan NCR, Secretary of the State Polution Control Board Haryana (HSPCB) which was informed on Tuesday.
Air quality in Gurgaon increases with the ‘poor’ category on Tuesday for the first time since November 14.
“We do not plan to impose a strange scheme, right now, in accordance with the command of the Air Quality Management Commission (CAQM) in the NCR and a side by side,” said S Narayana, Secretary, HSPCB.
Earlier on November 15, at an emergency meeting held after the Supreme Court recognized the recognition of the alarming level of pollution in the NCR, the strange scheme was proposed in four Haryana districts, including Gurgaon, Faridabad, Jhajjar and Sonipat, starting this week.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Gurgaon, Yash Garg, on Tuesday directing the corporation of Gurgaon City (MCG) to repair all holes in the city on December 15.
He also asked MCG to make the settings needed to control dust pollution and on the main project site.
The instructions came on the city heel that registered an ‘poor’ (AQI) air quality index on Tuesday after eight days ‘very poor’ AQI, with officials intending to prevent sliding to severe pollution levels.
A MCG official said that 15 teams have been formed to fill holes in the corporate area.
