Gurgaon: The additional commissioner of the MCG has directed the enforcement team to launch a special drive from Monday to remove unauthorized advertisements throughout the city.
The Civic’s body has identified illegal stockpiling, banners and unipoles which are arranged in public places and remember illegal advertisers three days of time to remove this ad.
Officials say that in addition to issuing Challans, the corporation will also file a shot against illegal advertisers in accordance with the provisions below Haryana Prevention of Defacement of Property Act, 1989.
According to Haryana Municipal Corporation Advertisement bylaws-2018, permission must be taken from the body of the Civic to advertise within the limit MCG.

According to the MCG budget estimate, MCG generates revenues around Rs 10.28 Crore in the Fiscal Year 2020-21 from advertisements, RS 15.45 Crore in 2019-20, Rs 13.90 Crore in Fiscal Year 2018-19 and Rs 14.14 Crore From advertising in fiscal year 2017-18.
