Gurgaon: MCG workers have extended until September 20 deadlines they set to revoke Superintending Engineers (SE) Ramesh Sharma suspension order.
Previously, they had given time until Wednesday 5:00 to restore officials.
The decision was taken after a meeting between the commissioner of MCG Mukesh Kumar Ahuja and the workers in his office.
“The Commissioner told us that the minister of local body urban (Anil VIJ) was busy with some work and told us to give him until Monday to resolve this problem,” said Naresh Malkat, Secretary of State, Nagar Palika Karmachari Sangh, Haryana.
MCG workers have started their protest on September 9 to demand Sharma recovery.
They postponed strikes the next day to give officials of officials until September 15, 500, said that if demand was not fulfilled, they would continue to protest on September 16.
