Coimbatore: Meat and fish kiosks watch business quickly ahead of total locking on Sundays.
G Sevanthi, a resident of Kavundampalayam, said he planned to prepare for Biryani and Fish for relatives who will visit it on Sunday.
“We will prepare dishes on Saturday has all family members present.
Even though the meat will not be the same if it is stored in the fridge, we have no choice,” he told toi.
People sipped the kiosk anticipating the union on Sunday, said Alex Babu from Ukkadam.
V Selvam, Ganapati’s meat artist said he used to buy two goats on Saturday and five on Sundays.
“Expect more buyers, I bought four days.
The business was normal until night, but was picked up at night.
I sell meat from the four goats after night and have to take another goat from a friend’s shop when the customer keeps coming until night,” he said .
S K Palanikumar, fish vendor in Gandhi Maa Nagar, said he usually sold on Sundays, but decided to install the kiosk on Saturday because of the horn of Sunday.
“I got a 10-20% profit more because of increasing demand,” he said.
