MediaTek has announced its newest chipset to the power tablet.
The company has launched MediaTek Kompanio 1300T SOC.
It is built on 6nm process technology and is equipped with features such as 5G, Multimedia, AI and game technology.
Kancanio 1300T, said MediaTek, will allow OEM to build strong, light and portable tablets for online education, business, streaming services, gaming games and AI.
As mentioned above, the new chipset is built on the technology process 6nm TSMC.
It integrates the CPU octa-core with core arm Cortex-A78 and Core Arm Cortex-A55.
In addition, it is equipped with a nine-core GPU Arm Mali-G77 MC9 that can support high frame levels for longer, finer games.
The 1300T companio combines MediaTek’s APU (AI Processing Unit) and is claimed to provide strong AI computing power and energy saving for the latest sound and visual applications.
The chipset will support the 5G network.
It comes with support for the band sub-6GHz 5G, 5G-2CA and dual 5G SIM along with 5G lift mode & 5G HSR mode increase.
As far as multimedia, the new chipset is said to come with support for multiple-scene HDR10 +, AI-PQ technology (image quality) and mediake chip eye protection machine to filter blue light.
It comes with additional support for dual-monitors with two full HD views and 4K HDR video recording technology.
Kancanio 1300T also supports 2.5K display with a speed of refreshing up to 120 Hz.
The company said that the latest chip allows multi-camera design with a 108MP camera, 60fps 4K video encoding and decoding, multi-depth intelligent focus and streaming AI-clear.
It offers AI-powered sound assistants and integrates ultra-low power sounds on the Wakeup (VOW) function.
This new platform is equipped with hyperengine 3.0 and mediatek gaming optimization.
Kompanio 1300T provides support for full ribbons for 5G sub-6GHz and 2cc operator aggregation (2CC CA), Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 for faster wireless connectivity.
