Bhubaneswar: The State Government on Wednesday allows the reopening of all medical colleges and other teaching institutions such as nursing, pharmaceutical, physiotherapy and work therapy, public health and paramedic / ally medical courses in the phase of decreasing this Covid-19 pandemic under compliance Strictly against Covid guidelines.
According to the Department of Health and Family Welfare, the theory class will be continued online, but a practical or clinical class and examination must be taken in small groups with a capacity of 50 percent, to ensure social distance.
Students must submit written permission from their parents or guardians.
Institutions must make provisions for filtering students for Covid symptoms when entering a practical space or clinical ward.
Mandatory for all students to follow the appropriate Covid behavior including the use of masks on campus, hand washing, the use of cleaners and social distance.

Institutions will separate students who are fully vaccinated and not vaccinated or some are vaccinated with different batches for clinical and practical classes.
Some vaccinations or unskilled students will not be allowed to libraries.
Separate areas must be intended at the dining facility for this group, said government communication.
There are no academic / social / religious / sports activities that will be permitted for students on campus.
Positive Covid students will not be allowed to sit in the examination but will appear in the next scheduled test (annual / additional).
