Philadelphia: The medical helicopter pilot that landed without losing life next to a church in a residential area in the suburbs of Philadelphia then expressed his throne to his crew and the first respondent when he was released from the hospital.
Danial Moore was pushed out of the emergency room medical center Penn Presbyterian Sunday morning to clap from the police and respondents first and spoke to reporters before being taken home with an ambulance with police escort.
“I just feel lucky, you know – I have God as my pilot that day and we care for the crew and we land on the front page, so it’s rather good,” he said.
EUROCOPTER EC135 medical helicopter owned by Denver-based air methods, part of the Hagerstown-based LifeNet program, Maryland, also transports a baby girl and two other crew members when it drops around 1 P.M.
Tuesday next to Drexel Hill United’s Methodist Church above Darby.
Moore said he did not remember “many things” about the accident, editing another crew by saving him and made young patients become ambulance.
“I remember waking up and looking up and seeing all firefighting companies look at me and it was a very good feeling,” he said, expressing his gratitude to the first respondent and the medical team treated him.
“I’m happy to be here and I’m glad that I got my crew again alive,” he said.
“I always tell people, I just drove a bus; the heroes were behind, working in patients.”
