Tirupur: Narcotics Intelligence Bureau – Department of Crime Investigation (NIB-CID), along with the drug control department, posted a medical store owner here to sell narcotics drugs to students.
Nib-cid sleuths, who receive information about three pharmacies specified in H and H1 Schedule of Medicines and Cosmetics Act 1945, Looking for Kavitha Medicals in Chettipalayam in Dharapuram on Sunday.
“The store has bought narcotics drugs legally, but has no patient records to whom they are sold.
Medicines for sale without pharmacists and without a doctor’s prescription.
The store does not have a copy of the bill or recipe register,” said a drug inspector.
Medical shop owners claim to have sold drugs without a prescription and student.
He was ordered under four articles from Section 18 (C), Medicines and Cosmetics Act 1945, which will invite fine RS 80,000.
The team also examined two medical stores again, but could not find evidence of errors.
Detective plan to continue such inspections.
