Vadodara: In the tragic incident, a MBBS student took his own life in the dorm room in the city on Thursday when the country celebrated the day of national doctors.
Deeparam Jhingar, 25, hanging himself with a wire in the afternoon when he is alone in the room.
This is a second suicide by MBBS students in the city in the past two months.
Meanwhile the deceased did not leave a suicide record, the police said that the investigation revealed that Jhingar was depressed.
“Jhingar suffered from depression and also underwent treatment for some time.
His father had lived with him for the past few days because his condition did not improve,” said VN Mahida, Police Inspector, Raopura Police Station.
Original Rajasthan, Jhingar was in the last year of medical studies at Baroda Medical Collects at Baroda Medical Collects.

In May this year, a 22-year-old student from Gotri Gmers Hospital also committed suicide by hanging himself in the dormitory room.
The police said that Siddharth Bhadrecha had left a suicide tone where he mentioned that he was stressed.
He had been released from his Covid task only five days before he ended his life.
