Patna: Health Minister Mangal Pandey on Saturday said complete medical universities will begin to function from the next academic session at Bihar.
Pandey told this newspaper that the State Cabinet had sanctioned the Vice Chancellor (VC) (VC), Pro-VC, Registrar, inspection controller, and other officials along with Secretary staff for the University.
“The promise of their meeting will begin by the government soon,” he said.
In different departures of conventional universities of the state, VC and pro-VC from this medical university will not be appointed by the Governor-Cum-Chancellor but by the state government itself.
The government is likely to form a search committee to recommend people who are suitable for the appointment to the university’s top executive post.
“The university will initially be able to function from the place of Chanakya National Law University-Mithapur.
In time, it will get a separate campus itself,” Pandey said.
He further showed that this university would provide better management of all medical institutions currently affiliated with the University of Knowledge Aryabhatta (I) which was published with the task of giving a large number of different institutions.
“Cm ​​Nitish Kumar has taken the initiative to establish independent medical universities to ensure an increase in all institutions related to health services in the state.
Therefore, the decision was taken last year to establish a state-level medical university along with the University of Engineering and Sports University in the country Section, “said the Minister, added that all 71 medical institutions, including government and personal medical colleges, pharmaceutical colleges, nursing institutions and paramedics, are currently affiliated with me to be transferred to new medical universities.
I was founded in 2010 by the state government to manage all professional institutions, including engineering, medical, breastfeeding, pharmaceutical, teacher training and management institutions.
However, soon, it is realized that the technical courses that are different from nature are not properly regulated by the university and therefore it was decided to establish medical universities and separate techniques for better management of special courses.
Leading medical high schools that will be included in the new medical university domain including Patna Medical College, Darbhanga Medical College, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College-Bhagalpur, Nalanda Medical College-Patna, Sri Krishna Medical College-Muzaffarpur, Magadh Medical-style College, Dental Patna College, Govt Ayurvedic College-Patna, Govt Medical College-Bettiah, Vardhman Institute of Medical Sciences-Pawapuri, Govt Tibbi College and Patna Hospital, Madhubani Medical College-Madhubani, Rajkiya Ayodhya Shivkumari Ayurvedic College and Hospital-Begusarai and Netaji Subhas Medical College and hospital-bihta.
