Mumbai: anti-narcotics cells (ANC) from Mumbai police have confiscated Mephedrone, cocaine and marijuana worth Rs 2.25 Crore during a raid in four locations in the city, police said on Thursday.
In the first operation, the ANC bandra unit carried out an attack on Andher on Wednesday and arrested the drug supplier of Anwar Iqbal Sayyad (41), a resident of Dongri in South Mumbai, with 510 GM Mephedrone worth Rs 1.02 Crore, said an official.
The allegations involved drug clamps in the city, suburbs and Navi Mumbai, said the official.
In another operation, the ANC Team Unit Ghatkopar put a trap in the Bunder Mosque area in South Mumbai and arrested three people with 545 GM Mephedrone, worth Rs 81.75 Lakh, he said.
The Azad Maidan Anc unit arrested a 29-year-old Nigerian man with a cocaine worth RS 39.60 lakh from Wadi Bunder area on Wednesday afternoon, while the Worli unit arrested two people with marijuana worth Rs 240 Lakh, said the official said.
