NEW YORK: Russia Daniil Medvedev made a quick work of Dominik Round opponents Koepfer to win 6-4, 6-1, 6-2 on Wednesday, soaking the cheering of the US crowd open to keep his offer a big title slam.
World number two broke service against Germany to start the match but Koepfer leveled up with a break in the seventh match, assisted by one of the two double mistakes Medvedev in the opening set.
